WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY?
- 6-Month contract opportunity with the possibility of extensions and future conversion
- This position is either remote or a hybrid schedule at the company offices in the Omaha metro area.
- $60 / hour - $70 / hour pay with flexibility based on skills & experience.
- Play a crucial role in shaping the integration operations of a leading healthcare IT organization.
DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
- You should have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Health Informatics, technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience with healthcare interoperability standards and 3 years with integration technologies are required.
- Your technical skills should include knowledge of XML, data integration, modeling, quality integrity, and governance.
- Experience with HL&, CCDA, Cloud Platforms (AWS / Azure) is necessary, with ITIL Certification preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a diverse range of staff will be essential.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Your primary responsibility will be to lead, plan, and manage the team, focusing on complete and accurate work.
- You will be in charge of technical documentation related to interfaces, connections, and data transformations.
- Part of your role will be to develop and implement strategies to enhance interoperability within the organization.
- You will provide expert-level consultation on matters related to interoperability and connectivity.
- Managing the cloud infrastructure operations related to the interoperability domain will be one of your main tasks.
- Ensuring that both operational and project work aligns with industry best practices and meets business requirements will be crucial.
- You will oversee the implementation and testing of IT policies to maintain security, system availability, and business continuity.
- Handling vendor contracts and participating in business process design, training development, and planning will also be part of your duties.
