Tech savvy, adaptable IT Recruiter needed to fill an opening for a dynamic insurance organization in downtown Omaha, NE.  If you’re and looking for a fun, collaborative environment, we need you!

DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 3-5 years of related work experience as a Technical Recruiter
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques 
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases (Workday preferred)
  • Knowledge of Human Resource laws and practices 
  • Full Life cycle recruitment process experience preferred
  • Experience managing agency/vendor contacts preferred
 
WHAT WILL YOU DO?  
  • Participate as a member of the hiring team in all aspects of the recruiting function working with management to fill positions at all levels
  • Develop recruiting and advertising strategies to identify candidates for open positions
  • Develop and implement recruiting plans for open positions
  • Assist with writing or updating job descriptions and job postings
  • Actively source passive candidates  
  • Review resumes to identify qualified candidates and consult with hiring managers
  • Conduct initial interviews and recommend candidates for interviews
  • Work with placement agencies to assist with recruitment process
  • Provide status updates to candidates and managers
  • Maintain recruiting records in the applicant tracking system and prepare reports
  • Provide advice to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates
  • Extend job offers and draft offer letters
  • Initiate onboarding activities
