Industrial Maintenance Manager – Chemical Manufacturing
 
Our client is a global Chemical Manufacturing Industry leader in the Cincinnati, OH area.  Due to service expansion; we are currently searching for a well-qualified Maintenance Manager to join their great and growing team!  
 
Duties Include:
 
  • The Industrial Maintenance Manager will be responsible for coordinating maintenance teamwork assignments to optimize safety and reliability of machinery, quality of production, production uptime and industrial machine maintenance
  • Ensure safe operation of all equipment; audit equipment to ensure good working conditions, proper guarding, log out tag out compliance, etc.
  • Train and develop new and existing maintenance staff on standard operating procedures, safety programs, etc.
  • Manage preventative maintenance program and ensure maintenance schedule is completed in a timely manner
  • Submit purchase orders for supplies, tools, equipment, and repair parts; submit capital expenses request when appropriate; maintain purchased inventory
  • Present and implement continuous improvement projects to minimize equipment downtime and improve efficiencies and safety
 
Requirements:

  • Technical or Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in employee management including effective leadership and supervision of multiple support functions and staff operating in a team concept
  • Strong emphasis on state and local safety regulations, safety compliance and training
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and a sense of urgency
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner
  • Experience working in Chemical Manufacturing is highly preferred

Benefits:

  • Starting pay ranges from $115,000 - $118,000 yearly
