Inventory Materials Administrator
$17-$18/hour (based upon experience)
Hours: (Full-Time) 8 AM 5 PM, Monday-Thursday; and 8 AM 3:45 PM on Friday.
Translating customer demand into materials purchasing activity.
Determining the product needs from manufacturing in order to meet customer build demand.
Placing purchase orders and managing expedites.
Insuring timely arrival of purchased materials.
Vendor resourcing activity.
Maintaining min/max inventory control targets.
Cost improvement initiatives.
Responding to vendor quality issues.
High School Diploma/GED required; Associates/Bachelors preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a purchasing, planning, or inventory control position;
Ability to develop and execute documented plans for improvement.
Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel.
Talent for developing a systemic approach toward operations.
Mix of education and experience is flexible and depends on candidates overall qualifications.
