Job Description
Laminator Fiberglass Tech
The Reserves Network is currently hiring a Laminator Fiberglass Tech for a manufacturer in the Orlando area. Laminator Fiberglass Tech must be proficient in using Chopper Gun.
What a typical day will look like:
- Buffing and preparing tank for fiber glassing and/or total containment wrap
- Spray chopped fiberglass using pneumatic spray guns
- Know the dangers of the chemicals involved
- Take proper safety precautions when working with the chemicals/fiber glassing.
- Use the spray equipment to spray resin on tank as it spins use rolls.
- After fiber glassing, areas around fittings must be grinded to create total coverage
- Schedule mobile crane to set tank on rolls and remove tank when completed
- Total containment wrap must be applied and sealed properly
- Check for puncture or cuts – must be completely sealed, tested.
- Keep work area clean
What you need:
- 2-3 years experience in Fiber glassing using Chopper Gun.
- Able to read a tape measure.
- Read drawings.

- 1st shift Monday – Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
