Job Description
Lathe Operator
The Reserves Network is currently hiring Lathe Operators for a busy parts fabrication shop in Clearwater, FL. As the Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for operating a multi-spindle screw machines in a machine shop environment.
What a typical day will look like:
- Check parts utilizing calipers, micrometers and height gauges.
- Operate multi-spindle screw machines (Index, Ganesh Swiss, Star Swiss, Triple Turret, Euroturn, Davenport)
- Run quality parts at specified rate
- Complete production paperwork including quality and timekeeping records.
- Read blueprints to determine characteristics required to monitor.
What you need:
- 2 years minimum experience operating multi-spindle lathes
- Basic set of tools
- Willingness to learn all aspects of the duties required
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

- 1st shift - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- 2nd shift - 3:15 pm - 11:45 pm ($1/hr shift differential)
- 3rd shift - 11:15 pm - 7:30 am ($2 shift differential)
