Direct-Hire Leasing Agent
Location: Beachwood/Shaker Heights, OH
Hours: 9-6 M-F; two Saturday s a month 10-4.
Salary: $15 an hour plus commission and full compensation and benefits package.
Accountable for new rentals and renewals; Responsible for inquiries through phone, internet, email, walk-in and scheduled appointments of potential tenants to show the property; Follow up with prospective tenants, replies to email leads within 24 hours of receipt.
Show apartments and community to prospective offering benefits of the community; provides a daily inspection of show apartments and model appearance.
Collect and process all needed information from prospective residents and verifying application information such as: employment landlord history and credit information; Collect application fees, security deposits and rent payments.
Prepare and execute leases in accordance with our property standards and regulations.
Exceptional customer service to support and retain current residents; Take required action when responding to resident requests in timely, efficient and courteous manner.
Participate in company training classes and meetings as required; Work effectively with team members including a Property Manager, Leasing Consultant, Housekeeping and Maintenance Staff to maintain high occupancy and positive revenue stream.
Maintains a detailed knowledge of the apartment community, amenities and community; Consistently documents prospect phone and email contacts; accurately complete market survey.
Maintains organized community office files; Adhere to and comply with company safety polies and rules; Must be willing to be assigned other managed communities as needed.
Assist in Craigslist marketing; monitors the accuracy of advertisements and takes appropriate action to correct; accurately and consistently documents traffic marketing sources; assist in leasing events and promotions.
Assists in the inspections of vacant apartments and takes appropriate action to prepare them for leasing; Promotes resident retention by assisting with the renewal program; Maintains an acceptable closing ratio.
Reports any observed maintenance problem; Must assist and attend resident functions; Must have mode of communication in which to be contacted at home and to respond in case of emergency.
High School Diploma/GED.
Minimum 2 years of Residential Leasing experience.
Knowledge of YARDI.
Customer service, sales or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining excellent quality standards.
Self-Motivated & Work well independently as well as part of a team, positive attitude & energetic, professionalism, and strong communication skills.
