Licensed Vocational Nurse’s Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in the ambulatory care setting
- Assist staff members (physicians, medical assistants, nurses, and technicians) with patient care
- Direct patients to designated treatment rooms for examinations and procedures
- Schedule tests and appointments as instructed by the physician
- Record and communicate information to referring physician
Licensed Vocational Nurse’s Qualifications
- A Current and Valid Licensed Vocational Nurse Certification with the State of Texas is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of LVN experience in a Physician’s office required
- Experience in a specialty clinic is a strong plus
- EMR: Epic experience is a strong plus
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
