Low Voltage Technician
Houston 77092
Temp-to-hire
1st Shift | 6am to 230pm | Monday to Friday
$14-$19 an hour; based on experience
We have collaborated with a leader in oil services who provides inflatable packers to the oil and gas industry to locate a Quality Control Inspector.
What You Will Do:
- Install, and support low voltage cable/fiber optics in any environment.
- Install MPLS (MUD ring) onto wall.
- Troubleshoot and repair a copper/fiber optic cable/patches
- Terminate insert (category 5E, 6, 6A) onto copper cable/patch panels.
- Inspect parts using a variety of measuring and gauging instruments.
- Maintain inspection records and logs inspection data.
- Read and understand documentation such as blueprints.
What You Will Need:
- Bicsi Technician Level 1 or Level 2 (preferred)
- Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
- Ability to use measuring instruments, calipers and other tools.
