Machine Operator
Do you have machine operating experience? Are you looking for an exciting career in the Newton area with a great company with long-term goals? We are hiring a Machine Operator for a leading manufacturer of shopping carts in Newton, NC. With more than 70 years of experience, they are committed to providing customers with the highest quality products.
What You Will Do:
- Operate punch presses, wire benders, wire shears and tube benders; used to shape, form, punch or bend wire, flat metal, and tubular parts
- Unload formed parts; load various formed and straight wire parts into fixtures on automated and robotic welding equipment
- Complete move tickets and inspect the quality of parts
- Report labor hours and part quantity in the MES system
What You Will Need:
- Press Breaks, Punch Presses, Wire Shears, Wire Benders, Hydraulic Presses, Wire Parts Jig, loaders, or assembly experience
- Able to stand for extended periods of time
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
Benefits and Details:
- The first, Second and Third Shifts are available
- Pay: $17.00/hr. 1st shift, 2nd and 3rd shift $18.00/hr.
