Your New Role:
As a Machine Shop Quality Control Inspector, your daily activities will revolve around inspecting, approving, and maintaining the standards of machined parts and components. Your role will encompass calibrating all shop gauges and inspection equipment, collaborating with machine operators to bring parts for inspection at predetermined intervals, and maintaining meticulous inspection records throughout each job. Additionally, you will be responsible for checking behind machine operators to guarantee that quality workmanship standards are consistently met during production.
 
What You Need: 
  • CMM Experience: is a plus for this role, as you will be utilizing Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure precise measurements and compliance with quality standards.
  • CNC Machine Experience: Helpful, as familiarity with CNC machines will enhance your ability to understand and assess the intricacies of the machining process.
  • Detail Oriented: Precision is paramount in this role. Attention to detail is crucial to identify and rectify any deviations from quality standards.
  • Reliable and Organized: The ability to consistently deliver accurate and reliable results, coupled with strong organizational skills to maintain comprehensive inspection records.
  • 1+ years prior QA experience
  • Dependability and attention to safety mindset
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
