Job Description
The Reserves Network has partnered with a Bennet, NE company that is looking to add a machinist to their team. This company has partnered with some of the largest firearm and aerospace organizations and they strive to produce consistent and state of the art items. Duties of the machinist include:
- Setup and operate state of the art CNC machines
- Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production
- Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task
- Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment
- Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary
- Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects
- Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs
Requirements of the machinist include:
- Experience working with machine tools or mechanical assembly
- Working knowledge of safety protocols
- Apprenticeship or vocational training preferred, but not required
