Maintenance Technician D

Enjoy your new position as a maintenance technician in beautiful Palmetto, GA. Be a part of a growing company by assisting with their maintenance, facilities, and construction. Successful completion of the standardized mechanical aptitude test and an interview process will be performed in order for you to use your skills to inspect, repair, and maintain machinery, building, and equipment.
What You Will Do:
- Move and carry heavy materials such as pipe, lumber, gravel, sand, or furniture
- Change filter element belts and coil cleaning
- Repair interior and exterior building-related issues company vehicles to refuel and purchase supplies for maintenance and repair jobs
- Drain cleanout, faucet repair, and clog removal
- Touch-up paint, grounds upkeep, repair, and maintenance including battery charging
- Assist in testing electrical, pneumatic, and HVAC controls and replace components
What You Will Need:
- Able to crawl, bend, lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, climb, and work in various temperatures
- Able to able to distinguish different wire colors
- 3-5 years of mechanical or electrical experience in a distribution environment is needed
- Exposure to PLC programming and controls in an automated environment
- Familiar with gearboxes and electric motors, v-belts, and pulleys
