Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Pay Rate: $27/hour BOE
Location: Brookfield, WI
Hours: 1st Shift 6am-2pm; 2nd Shift 2pm-10pm & 3rd Shift 10pm-6am positions available
 
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide variety of duties to diagnose, repair and calibrate CNC machines and equipment including all mechanical, electrical and electronic components and controls.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Perform work safely and in compliance with company policies
  • Install mechanical and electronic equipment
  • Maintain mechanical and automation systems
  • Troubleshoot mechatronic systems
  • Operate machine shop tools and machines
  • Weld and fabricate parts
  • Modify devices and systems
  • Maintain documents and records
 Requirements:
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow blueprints, shop routings and specific engineering notes related to unique customer specifications
  • Have basic math and trigonometry skills
  • Demonstrated mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities
  • Certifications in OSHA programs and practices preferred
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; sit; use hand to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk, occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear and smell; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
