We are seeking an experienced manual machinist to join our Milwaukee, WI team.
Responsibilities for Manual Machinist:
Plans machining by studying work order, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, drawings, and machining parameters.
Calculates and sets controls to regulate machine factors, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation and conditional switches.
Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunction or out-of-tolerance machining and makes adjustments as necessary.
Hold tolerances of .001.
Selects, aligns and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines, such as mills, lathes, jig borers, grinders, and shapers.
Verifies conformance of finished work piece to specifications.
Communicates effectively with engineers, production personnel, programmers or others to resolve machining or assembly problems.
Requirements for manual machinist:
Ability to read prints
Able to complete all duties in an efficient and accurate manner.
Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Hours, Pay, Benefits:
1st or 2nd, Monday Friday, 6A-2:30P or 2:30P-10P
$18-22/hr. based on experience.
