Job Description
Mechanical Engineer
The Reserves Network is currently hiring a Mechanical Engineer for a manufacturing company in Largo, FL. As the Mechanical Engineer, you will perform standard engineering development and design work to include mechanical structures, components and assemblies using Solid Works.
What you will do:
- Work to include process review & verification to customer-supplied design requirements.
- CNC programming
- Design of tooling and fixturing, and/or modification of existing designs.
- Material selection, fastener selection, conceptual designs and final designs.
- Reverse engineer from actual functional hardware
- Provide limited engineering support to manufacturing floor.
What you will need:
- BSME or BSET or equivalent experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of 3-D modeling and drafting.
- Experience using Solidworks.
- Simulation and manufacturing experience desired.
- Knowledge of typical machine shop operations.
- Practical knowledge of MIG and TIG welding (not as a welder), including knowledge of weld symbols a plus.
