Job Description

MIG & TIG Welder / Fabricator

Do you have MIG & TIG welding experience and are capable of interpreting blueprints in order to fabricate according to specifications? Would you enjoy a Monday – Thursday work week with full time hours on 1^st shift? If so, we would like to speak with you today regarding this great opportunity in Brown Summit, NC with great growth potential. Our client is a Machining industry leader in the Brown Summit, NC area and has been growing for over 90 years!

Duties include:

MIG & TIG weld stainless steel components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions.
Read, interpret and fabricate metals by comprehending detailed blueprints.
Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.
Examine workpieces for defects, measure workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.
Weld separately or in combination, using stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, and other alloys.
Operate overhead crane
Bend sheet metal to desired specifications

Requirements:

Ability to work 6:00am – 4:30pm
