Enter the role of Paralegal, where you utilize your legal expertise to strengthen a vital and progressive environment, you will review and research legal issues, prepare and draft memos, contracts, and other legal documents, and maintain positive working relationships with the teams, internal staff, and vendors.

Your New Role as a ParalegalJoin one of Houston, TX's most trusted and progressive mental healthcare organizations as the Paralegal. This role will require you to provide legal, contract, and administrative support to the General Counsel, Director of Contracts, and all Attorneys with a primary focus on legal research, drafting legal documents (such as memos, briefs, pleadings, and policies), and supporting the contract review and approval process.

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Paralegal Education and Talent:
  • A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required.
  • Three (3) years of experience as a Paralegal is required; experience working with a governmental or healthcare entity is highly preferred.
  • Essential knowledge of and experience with vendor negotiations, contract law, contract terms and conditions, and general contract procedures.
  • Proficiency with various software platforms, including Microsoft Word and legal/contract management software is required.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and reading comprehensive skills are required.
