Job Description

Part-Time Accountant/Controller for a small business services organization in Omaha. This role is perfect for a parent looking for middle-of-the-day work, or semi-retired accountant. This 25-hour-per-week role will give you an excellent blend of fast pace and variety as you will help 9-10 entities with their accounting work.

What Matters Most:

Part-time role requiring no less than 25 hours per week
Pay will be up to $40 per hour
Direct Hire opportunity
Fully onsite role in near Werner Park in Sarpy County

Your New Role:

You will perform accounting duties, using Quickbooks, for up to 10 external entities. These duties will include reconciling reserves, staying ahead of audit requirements, monitoring sales tax withholdings, and filing personal property tax returns, etc. You will be the dedicated accountant for these small entities, but work for a private and separate LLC.

Your Experience:

Must have experience as an Accountant or Controller, closing a full set of books
Must have experience doing accounting within Quickbooks
Must have strong experience in filing sales tax returns, AP, AR & reconciliations
Must have impeccable integrity and trustworthiness
