Job Description
Plant Manager
Leading storage solutions company in Gary, IN seeking a Plant Manager to lead their operations.
What you do:
- Responsible for day-to-day operations of Manufacturing/Distribution Center
- Vendor relations
- Inventory Management
- Identify areas of risk, monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s), evaluate the effectiveness of efforts and initiatives, and develop and implement changes for continuous improvement as required
- Identify areas of non-conformance, lead root-cause investigation and deliver corrective action plans
What you need:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-initiative and attention to detail
- 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment
- 4 years of experience in a leadership role
- Strong operational background with people, distribution, and safety
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
