Plasma Burner

North Houston 77073

Temp-to-hire

3rd Shift | 5pm to 5am | Monday to Friday

$20-$24 an hour; based on experience

We have collaborated with a leader specialty steel plate distributor and processor, with a comprehensive inventory of cabon & alloy plate, as well as unique mix of processing capabilities.

What You Will Do:

Experienced in machine set up and programming while maintaining equipment in a safe and productive manner.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings.
Part processing with maximum productivity
Ability to interact with other shop personnel in an efficient manner as to minimize mistakes.
Maintain traceability of all plate material and parts produced.
Efficient scrap utilization.
Forklift and overhead crane experience.
Staging/moving heavy material to load/unload table.
Use of gauges, measuring devices and precision instruments to verify dimensions of finished parts.
Ability to stand, lift, climb, and perform various other activities.

What You Will Need:

High school diploma or GED
Previous in the same related field
Previous experience operating a crane with the use of magnets a plus but not required.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
