Semiconductor Wafer Process Operator (SPD Technician)
$12.96-$16.20 hourly with a $1/hour shift differential for the night shift

Play a critical role in supporting production goals and maintaining high company standards when you become a Semiconductor Wafer Process Operator with one the leading designers and manufacturers of fiber optic networking products. Our client primarily serves three growing end-markets: cable television broadband, fiber-to-the-home, and internet data centers. As a Semiconductor Process Operator, you will be responsible for all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products such as processing the wafers and bars using various equipment to produce laser chips.
Your New Role:
- Process, production, and inspection
- Measure and record process data to ISO 9001 standards
- Work with tweezers and microscopes
- Sets up and operates production machines including lapping and polishing machines
What You Need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to plan, layout, and perform operating equipment
- Previous experience in using a microscope, hand tools, and tweezers
- Experience handling small devices in an assembly manufacturing clean room
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
