Procurement Clerk
$46,000 annually
Cheshire, CT
Monday – Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
 
We are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a Procurement Clerk at our client's Cheshire, CT facility. This role has opened up due to the company's expansion.
 
POSITION SUMMARY 
As a Procurement Clerk, you will be responsible for coordinating orders with vendors, ensuring timely delivery, collaborating with Materials and Production Departments, and maintaining detailed spreadsheets to track component demands.
Skills needed to be a successful Procurement Clerk:
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain focus on repetitive tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Capability to interpret Engineering drawings accurately.
  • Completion of necessary reporting and paperwork.
Requirements of our Procurement Clerk:
  • 1-3 Years of Purchasing Agent experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with data entry experience.
  • Positive attitude aligned with company policies, fostering a high-morale environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative in problem-solving.
