Quality Control Technician

The Reserves Network is currently hiring a Quality Control Technician for a manufacturing company in Orlando, FL. As the Quality Control Technician, you will inspect repaired assemblies and subassemblies for procedural, workmanship, or functional type failures. Build your career with us by applying today!

What Matters Most:

• Pay: $17 - $19 per hour
• Mon – Fri 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
• Location is Orlando, Florida
• One year of component-level troubleshooting experience

 Your New Role:

• Inspect electronic circuit boards and electromechanical assemblies for defects or substandard workmanship
• Approve unrepairable items and label them as a nonconforming product
• Complete all paperwork or electronic documentation concerning rejected boards
• Live test any boards that display signs of substandard workmanship
• Deliver all “Functional” rejects to the Production Manager for distribution
• Coordinate with Shipping the pickup of repaired boards

 Your Qualifications:

• Minimum two years of hands-on quality inspections of electronic and electromechanical assemblies and subassemblies
• One year of component-level troubleshooting experience
• Capable of using common test equipment (i.e. VOM, Huntron)
• Capable of judging good/bad soldering junctions
• Ability to read schematic drawings
• General knowledge of various repair techniques and associated test equipment
