Duties of quality control technician include: 
 
  • Inspect equipment or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
  • Maintain current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and ensure compliance.
  • Perform specific tasks efficiently and accurately as requested by the Quality Control Manager
  • Review material and make sure it meets standards
  • Check, sample, identify and release labels, packaging and raw material assuring it meets or exceeds standards set
  • Pull samples of raw and finished products for testing as needed.
  • Product inspections as needed
 
Requirements of the quality control technician include: 
 
  • Required: 1-2+ years’ experience in a pharmaceutical/food manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred: Experience with good manufacturing practices and manufacturing regulations.

  • Competitive salary of $16-$17  per hour based on experience
