3-6 month plus Connecticut contract assignment for a Quality Engineer.
Assists process owners through 5-why assessments to define underlying root causes.
Works with process owners to define and implement durable preventive actions as well as take corrective and containment actions.
Directly responsible for preventive activities for contracted Logistics services as well as purchased OEM products (including WINS).
Drive DFMEA and PFMEA activities in new product introduction.
Assess any new suppliers to be introduced during new product introduction.
Interact with partners to plan robust controls, qualify and drive continual process improvement.
Responsible for insuring continued compliance to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015
BS in Engineering or Equivalent Experience preferred
Five years Quality Engineer experience in a lean team environment desired.
Strong practitioner of the 8D and FMEA processes.
Experience presenting and interacting with customers.
Experience with SAP desired
Expertise in RF testing, including passive modulation, and in operation of RF measurement equipment
