Job Description
Quality Inspectors
Growing Western Lake County Aerospace and Defense company is expanding and looking for 1st and 2nd shift Quality Inspectors. Looking for a company with the culture, pay and values you deserve? Shift times:
- 1st shift 7 am – 3:30 pm Monday through Friday
- 2nd shift 4:30 pm – 1 am Monday through Friday
- $18-25 based on experience
Duties Include:
- Verifies dimensions of parts against blueprints, using gage blocks, micrometers, height gages, optical comparators, and other hand gages
- Conducts receiving and visual inspection of parts received from outside processing (heat treat, nondestructive testing, painting, plating, passivation, coating, etc.)
- Inspect products at various stages of production, including in-coming inspection, first piece inspection, and final inspection
- Use other equipment including profilometers, air gages, etc. when necesary
- Other duties as assigned
Skills Include:
- Attention to detail/thoroughness
- Good problem-solving skills and communication
- Manufacturing experience
- Ability to read/interpret blueprints/drawings
- Experience using various mechanical inspection tools
- Experience performing first piece, in-process and final acceptance inspection required.
