Job Description
Sales Engineer
The Reserves Network has partnered with a growing Plastics Manufacturing Company that has been in Bardstown, Kentucky, for over 30 years. This company is seeking a Sales Engineer to help expand their automobile industry into various other industries.
What You Will Do:
- Selling products, managing products, and plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs
- Interacting with both customers and engineers to assess equipment needs
- Collaborating with the sales teams to understand customer requirements, promoting sale of company products, and provide sales support
- Perform activities to diagnose problems with installed equipment, giving customer recommendations for improved materials and machinery, and documenting how such changes will lower costs or increase production
What You Will Need:
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to meet deadlines, self-motivated, energetic, and creative
- Good understanding of custom automotive project management concepts
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or other related field. Related experience may be substituted for formal education
- 5 years’ experience in project management is a plus
- 3 years’ experience in automotive project management is a plus
- Experience in design (CAD) engineering is required
- Knowledge of electric wiring and PLC programming is desired
