 Senior Accountant

We are a Growing Company located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago with an immediate opportunity for a motivated Senior Accountant to handle the following responsibilities:

  1. Assist in Month End Close of company and subsidiary financials.
  2. Perform Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations, including Bank Reconciliations.
  3. Collaborate on and document process improvements and controls for all corporate entities.
  4. Sales Tax and informational return preparation.
  5. Maintain Fixed Assets registers.
  6. Prepare information for 3rd party firms in relation to  income tax returns and audits.
  7. Develop estimates for pre-close reporting.
  8. Cost accounting analysis.
  9. Budget variance reporting.
  10. Assist in budget development.
  11. Weekly, Monthly, and Year End financial reporting activities.
  12. Other Projects as Assigned
Qualified candidates will possess:

  1. Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
  2. At least Five Years of General Accounting Experience
  3. Excellent Communications Skills
  4. Excellent Problem-Solving Skills
  5. Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills
  6. Experience with Sage (MAS) Accounting Systems is a Plus  
  7. Manufacturing Experience is a Plus
