Job Description

The Reserves Network is partnering with a local agriculture equipment company in search for their Service Manager role. Direct Hire opportunity straight away with the company, don’t miss out!


Manage service operations for the location to maximize return on investment, provide superior quality service, implement efficient and effective service processes and standards, and increase service sales. Assumes overall responsibility for labor sales, staffing and budgets for the Service Department.

-Communicate, enforce, and monitor Service Department processes and standards to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction as well as department efficiency
 -Responsible for Service Department goals and budget

- Hire, train and develop technicians
 -Schedule and assign jobs to employees in the Service Department according to their skills and knowledge
 -Review work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing
 -Invoice work orders and complete all paperwork in a timely manner
 -Ensure all Service Warranty and Product Improvement Program (PIP) claims are completed & submitted within the required timeframe to receive maximum credit
 -Grow Service Department sales by building strong customer relationships and providing excellent customer experiences
 -Execute Service Department marketing plan and monitor monthly to ensure achievement of departmental goals
 -Ensure the shop, service offices, tools, equipment, and vehicles are kept clean, organized and well maintained

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
-5+ years of experience with John Deere and competitive products
 -Ability to professionally lead and motivate others; prior management experience preferred
 -Strong interpersonal skills
 -Strong written communication skills
 -Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports
 -Experience with Microsoft Office and Internet Functions
 -Associates degree or equivalent experience required


Shift: M-F 7:30am-5:30pm every other Saturday 7:30am-12pm


Salary: $70,000-$100,000 depending on experience.
