Sewing Machine Operator

Sewing Machine Operator Duties:
- Operate industrial sewing machines and stitch heavy materials within a manufacturing environment to produce military tactical gear using automated workstations.
- Ensure quality control standards are met.
- Handle pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Cut and retrieve materials and hardware and places at workstations.
- Produce various item configurations.
Sewing Machine Operator Qualifications:
- Experience with multiple machines (tackers, edge binders, walking foot, single/double is a plus but NOT required!)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good eye/hand coordination, detail oriented.
- Responsible for the housekeeping practices and upkeep in their assigned work area.
- Ability to read, write, use a ruler, add/subtract, and calculate fractions.
- Good communication skills and a team player attitude
