Sheet Metal Roofer

Roofer Responsibilities:

Repairing or maintenance work
Thatching or speacialist repairing of old materials
Filling in leaks with cement or other appropriate materials
Working out a project timeframe and budget to proprose to a customer
Following health and safety rules, particularly working at heaight
Checking for weather damage
Restocking materials

Roofer Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
4 Years’ experience
Time management and budgeting skills
Good customer service and communication skills
Ability to move heavy objects
Experience in using hand tools and other roofing equipment
Ability to operate callipers, weld gauges, tape measures, and other welding hand tools such as handheld screw guns, drill guns, and grinders.
Knowledge of welding techniques, (Electric Arc, MIG and TIG), tools and equipment.
