WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY?
- 1-year CONTRACT position with possibility of extension or option to hire
- REMOTE options available for select candidates
- Flexible HYBRID schedule for candidates local to Omaha, NE – 1 day per week in office
- $40 per hour - $50 per hour with some flexibility based on skills and experience

DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Business, or related field
- 2+ years Manual Testing experience including creating User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Test Plans, etc.
- Experience within an Automation Testing environment
- Proficient with use of Microsoft products and Windows applications
- Experience working in an Agile team environment
Preferred Knowledge & Experience:
- Automation Testing Tools (Selenium or similar)
- Experience writing Automated Test Scripts, ideally in VBScript , from scratch
- Experience as a Test Lead in a previous role
- Basic insurance terms and coverages knowledge
- SQL knowledge
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a Software Development QA Tester, you will use your critical thinking, attention to detail, and good communication skills as you:
- Perform a combination of QA and BA duties with an emphasis on QA (90%)
- Test new and existing applications and software enhancements using 80% manual elements and 20% automation
- Document errors using a bug tracking system to communicate software defects
- Function as a subject matter expert on product features/functionality
- Communicate with technical and non-technical team members and leaders to determine test plans and to fix outstanding issues
