WHAT IS GREAT ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY?

  • Work on-site in the company’s Grand Island, NE office.
  • $60000 - $90000 / year salary with some flexibility based on skills and experience.
  • Be the backbone of the company by ensuring smooth operations of all in-house computer systems and servers.
  • Take full "ownership" of technology challenges, guiding them to resolution.
  • Engage in a dynamic role with diverse responsibilities, from software installation to advanced system maintenance.
     
DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficient in Active Directory administration, VMware environments, and HP blade servers.
  • Expertise in Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Capable of creating and maintaining PowerShell scripts for task automation.
  • Experience with server security audits, system backups using Veeam, and endpoint management with tools like Crowdstrike and PDQ.
  • Familiarity with DNS changes, Windows updates via WSUS, and server permissions management.
  • Strong skills in documenting work processes and system structures.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?   

  • Monitor, control, and resolve IT challenges, being the go-to person for technical support for users and projects.
  • Administer the digital landscape of the company, from Active Directory to HP blade servers.
  • Maintain the VMware infrastructure and conduct domain controller upgrades.
  • Handle employee onboarding and offboarding from an IT perspective.
  • Actively engage in cybersecurity measures, ensuring server security and system backup.
  • Be the steward of server permissions, file sharing, and network configurations.
  • Provide expert guidance on endpoint management and software deployments.
  • Maintain the highest standards of data confidentiality and adhere to all IT and company policies.
  • Ensure the company's software and hardware standards are upheld, and take on additional duties as they come.
