Role Maintenance Support
Collaborate with BASF maintenance team to establish and maintain key performance indicators
Participate in maintenance planning/scheduling, define priorities for maintenance group to help improve on stream factor of the company s operation
Work with maintenance to establish and ensure PM of equipment execution to reduce overall maintenance costs and improve up-time, in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and best practices
Provide troubleshooting support to minimize the impact of equipment downtime and provide follow-up to prevent re-occurrence.
Establish regular discussion with other maintenance leader within organization to help leverage know how and lesson learned across sites.
CAPITAL PROJECT OVERSIGHT
Identify, propose and implement investment projects on the site with the aim of improving equipment up-time
Identification of bottlenecks and recurring breakdowns in the production chain to define projects (capital or small investment.)
Request for quotes from subcontracting companies (mechanical, electrical, engineering) projects identified for presentation/validation with company.
Monitoring, reporting (deadlines, cost and good implementation) and coordination of approved investment projects between: the needs of company, the engineering company, the planning of stops, the standards in force for the site, and the availability of subcontractors for the desired date.
Management Of Demolition Projects:
Under site management s request: completion and follow-up of the demolition works by the subcontractors, updated company equipment lists on the site.
Within company (internal): Process tech support in Savannah, Technical group in France and other NA sites, Manufacturing Director, Manufacturing Process support Specialist, Senior Project Manager, Business partners
Outside company (external): BASF TES team, BASF operation team
Education, Work Experience And Other Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Field or appropriate technical training and experience.
Minimum 5 years Manufacturing experience in Technical and/or Management role.
Strong oral and written communication skills in English, French a plus.
Ability to maintain good working relationships in a multi-functional, multicultural organization.
Familiarity with or exposure to ISO quality systems and statistical methods.
Willingness to travel periodically.
