Test Technician – Milwaukee, WI

This international company assembles electric generators for wind power and is currently seeking a Test Technician. This is a contract to hire position.
What You Will Do:
- Test and inspect the utility scale generators following the standard operating procedures to ensure compliance to the specifications and quality standards.
- Use blueprints, work instructions, SOP, schematics and electrical testing tools and equipment to check and test assemblies.
- Use basic measuring, hand, and power tools.
- Work with Test Engineer to set up generators for heat run testing.
- May use overhead crane and forklift. Must be willing to get certified, if needed.
What You Need:
- Relevant experience REQUIRED, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Must have basic electrical and mechanical knowledge and be able to troubleshoot issues and find the root cause of the problem.
- Ability to use various hand and power tools, measuring devices and testing devices and equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED
