Client Company: Harris County Public Health Services
ExecuTeam and Harris County’s Public Health Services Department are teaming up to locate a Testing Support Specialist to join their team! The Testing Support Specialist will support mobile clinic operations through patient registration, customer service, training, troubleshooting equipment, and software, and establish daily clinic operations for COVID-19, Flu, Monkeypox, and other vaccine administrations. Testing Support Specialist’s Responsibilities
- Verify patient appointments and successfully register clients in Vacstrac, Survey123, Immtrac2, and Epic.
- Accurately enter review, and update patient documentation and medical records.
- Assist technical application, computing, and communications personnel; identify and solve problems using installed diagnostic and monitoring tools.
- Maintain appropriate security and confidentiality of information created or encountered in the performance of assigned duties.
- Account for equipment and supplies each day and notify the site supervisor and logistics personnel when issues arise.
- Maintain accurate and efficient records of electronic device inventory
- Assist with setup and breakdown of the sites daily; Analyze and resolve operational problems and consult or inform appropriate staff when assistance is required
Testing Support Specialist’s Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate’s degree in computer science, healthcare administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of working experience in information technology or customer service-related field, providing customer-facing support, and working in a clinical administrative position is required.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams) experience is required
- Complete knowledge of HIPAA compliance in the workplace is required
- A Valid Texas Driver’s License is required
- Must have the ability to troubleshoot equipment or software failures on-site
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
