Job Description

TRN Industrial is partnering with a local medical center to find a superb candidate to fill their Warehouse Clerk position. 


 

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for receiving, keying, and promptly distributing all supplies within the

facility, as well as reviewing and maintaining all Min/Max levels for storeroom safety stock as well as all other stocking

locations. The Warehouse Clerk is also responsible for conducting physical inventories of all POU areas

according to the defined schedule.


 

Hours: Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm 

Pay: $16.00/ hour 


 

Job Duties: 

  1. Deliver supplies in an accurate and timely manner
  2.  Is authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs, non-prescription drugs, contrast media and drug-containing
  3. devices relative to core competencies of the position
  4.  Place safety stock in proper location
  5. Receive expedited deliveries, accurately key receiving into the SMART system, and deliver to appropriate
  6. department(s)
  7.  Receive all cross-docked items into the SMART system as appropriate
  8. Review Min/Max for storeroom safety stock daily and place orders appropriately
  9. Count par level areas (POU areas) weekly according to schedule
  10. Ensure POU items have the appropriate barcodes
  11. Perform QA random checks on totes per approved policy
  12. · Rotate stock in POU areas and backup storeroom areas to ensure no items are out of date
  13. · Check after-hour logs for charges and determine how to avoid reoccurrence
  14.  React appropriately to POU “critical point” messages and stock outs
  15. Process all “returns to vendor” or “returns to backup stock” appropriately
  16. Provide assistance to the POU Station personnel as well as provide assistance with problems, questions and
  17. concerns at the nurses stations
  18. Handle all emergency supply situations
  19. Ensure all items are marked to Supply Chain standards (ex: expiration markings, latex, etc.)
  20. Rotate “on call” as appropriate

 

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or GED Required

• Previous stock clerk experience preferred
