Job Description
Welder
Our client in South Holland, IL needs self-motivated individuals with mechanical and electrical abilities. They are the leading recycling baler manufacturer since 1962. You will be working from prints, drawings, and detailed work instructions to perform builds.
What You Will Do:
- Read blueprints & drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout & procedures.
- Weld parts in flat, vertical, and/or overhead positions
- Torch and plasma cutting
- Use of portable grinder, hand file, and/or scraper as needed.
What You Need:
- Mig/stick welding expertise
- Light fabricating skills
- Forklift and over-head crane operation a plus
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use precision measuring tools.
- Ability to maintain and use equipment in a safe manner.
- Willingness to work OT and Saturday as needed.
- Ability to demonstrate a “can do” attitude.
What’s In It for You:
- $20-$21/hr depending on experience
- 1st shift – 6am-2:30pm Mon-Fri with OT available
- 2nd shift – 2:15pm-1:00am Mon-Thurs ($1 shift differential)
